About the Phoenix Mountain

 

Fenghuang Mountain is one of the four famous mountains in Fengtian. It is famous for its precipitousness and is praised as "the Famous Mountain of the Country", "the First mountain of the Great Wall" and "the first mountain of Chinese Adventure". Summer quiet cool, pleasant environment, is the famous summer resort in Liaodong; In October, the mountain is full of red maple, which is the best place to enjoy the autumn foliage. Quiet spring cave is also the characteristics of Phoenix Mountain, such as Phoenix Cave, three churches, Yipin Dongtian and other ancient caves, twists and turns deep.

 

There are Sanguan Temple, Guanyin Pavilion and other temples dotted on the mountainside. Many believers come to pray for good luck every year, and their incense is very prosperous. Fenghuang Mountain Temple Fair is held every year on the 28th day of April in the lunar calendar, mainly to commemorate the Miao King Sun Simiao. There are folk religious activities such as the King of Medicine touring the city and offering sacrifices to the king of Medicine.
