Jiushui Gorge is 40 kilometers away from Dandong city center, east of Yalu River landscape Avenue, west of 201 National Road, located in Dandong city and Kuandian deep major scenic spots, forest parks, nature reserves between, because the river in the valley turned nine big bends, so the name "Jiushui Gorge".

 

In the scenic area, the river is beautiful, the river is clear, the bank mountain is steep, green and quiet, the riverbed is mostly stone structure, and the beach is rocky, which is a typical river landform. Jiushui Gorge has abundant tourism elements, beautiful scenery, superior location, warm climate, rich ethnic customs, and convenient transportation. It is a resort for carrying out rafting, mountain and river Tours, agriculture and forestry ecology, leisure vacations, and driving Tours. In addition to many scenic spots, the Jiushui Gorge scenic area is also rich in animal and plant resources. The water resources in the Jiushui Gorge are abundant and high quality, with an annual discharge of about 100 million cubic meters, and the water quality is better than the drinking water standards set by the International Health Organization.

Rafting event

Jiushuixia Rafting is a start-up project of Jiushuixia Tourism Area developed and constructed by Dandong Jiushuixia Tourism Development Co., LTD in 2007. It is located in the middle reaches of Anping River in Changgangzi Village, Hushan, Kuandian Manchu Autonomous County.

 

With a total length of 6.6km, the river consists of three thrilling cascade drifts, three fast-flowing fighting drifts, three winding and soothing leisure drifts and three quiet and quiet drifts. The whole journey takes 3 hours.

 

In 2008, the first phase of the project was 4.8 kilometers long, and the whole journey took about 2 hours. The main attractions in the scenic spot are: Jinshui Bay, Dairong Lake, Shuian Jinshi City, Jiyu Beach, Qiqiaotan, Jinchen Bay, Frog Bay spout, Xiongfeng Show Valley, Tianhe Emerald Waterfall, snow wave Galaxy, Milky Way Bridge, Tianhe Flying boat, Jinyin Beach, Long Gorge blue water, three color Tan, Moon Peak Qingwan, Tianhe Stone Tao, Xianren Spring, Gaoxia Cascade waterfall, Yilong Bay, Zhishui Ling Cliff, Two dragons playing with pearls, etc.
